Hi... I have just added more Royal Irish Constabulary extracts for Men who were native to Wicklow. We now have Sep 1852-Oct 1853. The additions are for 1853. I don't know if it is coincidence, but I notice men with the same last names on some of these lists. I wonder if brothers often joined up around the same time? Hello Christina When I read your note re siblings may have joined at the same time, I remembered that the Scots that immigrated to Sydney in families did do that. But they joined WW1, brothers and brothers in law. All must have had a pow wow and decided to all join together. They all came back after the war but all had been wounded to various degrees one badly. My father in law was wounded several times (one of the brothers.) Just a bit of trivia to confirm that it does happen. regards Paddy in Sunny Autumn Sydney. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christina Finn Hunt" <chrisnina@gmail.com> To: "irl-wicklow" <irl-wicklow@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2011 1:26 AM Subject: [IRL-WICKLOW] Fresh today in IGP Archives > Hi... > I have just added more Royal Irish Constabulary extracts for Men who were > native > to Wicklow. > We now have Sep 1852-Oct 1853.
