    3. Barbara, Have you already looked at the type of information we have here from films? I don't know what, if anything, is available beyond that. I did find something interesting using the 1901 census yesterday. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ If you click on More Search Options on the Search Box you can put under Occupation "R I C Pensioner". Without the quotes. It came up with a lot of men who were in the RIC. I don't recall seeing that option before.
