    3. Paula, It would be nice if you stated what family you were seeking and where, that way it ends up within the archives forever and others doing the same research of same name then ( if your email address is current) may reach you for any given time that the email address you use is current . So why not begin the fact finding mission by stating On list what you are seeking. Yours truly, Cara

    1. [IRL-WICKLOW] Troy Family
    2. Barbara OConnor
    3. Cara, I've been searching for the family of Daniel Kavanagh and Margaret Murphy for years! Campbell Hill Cemetery at West Maitland has a row of graves where Kavanaghs and Troys pretty well alternate. Desparation, or boredom, or serendipity, set me off on the path of the Troys and, courtesy of TROVE, I came across the Maitland Mercury account of the death of James Troy, son of Peter & Julia, of Anambah, in a dray accident, in 1879. A passerby went to get help and returned with "Mr Troy's nephew, Mr Cavanagh", also of Anambah. Eureka!! I found a relative. The parents of Margaret Murphy were Michael Murphy and Julia Unknown, so I'm guessing that Margaret and Julia were sisters. I hve also come across a posting of yours, dated May 2005, in which you list Bounty Immigrants on the Earl Grey, 1842, including - James & Bridget Troy, both aged 21, Native Place of both is Derralossary. And you also said you would like to know if "anyone at all is researching any of the names". So I'm now putting my hand up. It is so, so exciting! Thank you very much for that posting (which you have probably forgotten about by now). Regards Barbara

    2. Wonderful photos! Thank you Nuala! Just a FYI - I don't think it's the President of the country, but President of the Executive Council, later Taoiseach Eamon deValera. There was no President of Ireland in 1934. Hilda On 12 Beal 2012, at 01:01, irl-wicklow-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
