Dear Cara Your posts are truly appreciated. Thank you. Michael Thompson condran@one-name.org http://www.one-name.org/profiles/condran.html http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~condran http://condran.blogspot.com
I, too, would like to add a message here. I have known Cara for perhaps 12 years now, and I think she is the kindest and most caring and sharing-est person around. Cara has always, without being asked, sent information on to my other lists [Tipperary & Waterford] for the subscriber's use. My chance also to say - Thanks, Cara! Janet
On my part I can never understand those who complain about postings with information in them. AND there is a delete button on most computer keyboards, so not sure what the problem is. Maybe if you are a member of the several lists concerned it could be irritating, but again DELETE is your friend here. Do keep up the good work Cara - for those of us unable to access these records for ourselves it is a wonderful thing to have this resource (you) and this information coming FREELY into our inboxes (and, yes, I did intend to shout these words as well). The sound of crashing brick walls should easily overwhelm any other 'noise'. Cara: I am very very happy with your postings. Without you I would never be where I am in tracing my Wicklow family. I am ever so grateful and follow your postings religiously, please please do not change or stop your postings. I enjoy reading even if they are not relevent to my family as you just never know. You are a very kind and sharing lady and I do wish that I could meet you in person some day. Thank you for all you have done in the past and I look forward to your future postings. Ignore that email, perhaps their glass isn't even half empty but all empty. Cara, I am usually just a reader of all the e-mails that I receive from this list as I don't have much information yet on my ancestors to ask any questions. But I have learned a lot from everyone on this list including you and appreciate all you do. Please do not stop doing what you are doing. Hi Cara, keep up the good work, we all love ya. Can't you just take the offending 'researcher' off the list? D.L.T.B.G.Y.D.... Cheers, Jim Higgins UK
Keep up the good work! Just remember what an old boss of my used to say when he had to deal with difficult customers: "There are more horse's asses than horses." Hope this makes you smile. You deserve it. Rai Richardson Springfield, IL
Cara, Don't change anything about how you interact with the lists. You are a blessing to those of us who subscribe. While I haven't posted in some time, I can attest to how personally helpful you have been to me in the past. I'm sure there are scores if not hundreds of others who have greatly benefited from your direct interest in their searches and problems. And I'm not only talking about genealogy. You are aces in my book (that's a good thing) and if some curmudgeon can't figure that out he should unsubscribe and just go away. No one forced him to join any of the RootsWebs lists -- let him fend for himself. Bob Thompson Pennsylvania, USA
Dear Cara, I subscribe to several lists, and yours is far and above the most comprehensive -- most administrators rarely post except to remind people about the correct way of posting or answering a post. Every communication you make to the list is so informative and there's no question that you are caring enough to provide so much good, time consuming researched input. Keep it up! JoanKennewick, Washington

Cara, It should never be questioned that anything and everything you share with the list is of value to someone. Your unfailing committment to this and other lists has opened up new avenues of research for many I am certain. I agree that sharing is an important part of group lists and might save someone time and expense if one piece of information shared is the key that unlocks the mystery of our ancestors. Some day it is hoped that the lister who complained may have his / her own "Eureka" moment of discovery from just such a tidbit of shared information. If a lister does not wish to read the email they always have the option to delete without reading past the topics. Sheila Johnston London, Ontario CANADA

All I am asking is if you find a mistake in the date, and you have the copy of the details from the register then let me know so it may be corrected.
