    3. Where is the headstone below from??.......... He is linked to the name HALLOWES I notice-that is also known around Blackrock and found in Holt Trinity and Bray I guess he went there ( Killarney Cottage) to retire put his feet up, and take in the view, drink lots of Barry's tea, eat Jacobs biscuits and die in peace. It may have been a nursing home and he went there to do all of the above as well. Did he have a sister he went to live with and do all of the above, my main guess would be retirment away from Dublin itself and close enough to the city for himself to enjoy if he so desired. Except I would opt for the above reasons tea and jacobs biscuits ........ Sorry Peggy I thought I had, I must have posted it elsewhere? http://www.cwgc.org/cwgcinternet/search.aspx Where the panel comes up on the right saying Casualties you can enter the cemeteries by clicking on the drop down menu. Then enter the Cemetery of your choice and see what it comes up with. Likewise with the Casualty list you can enter a name and follow it through, there's a mass of information on there! 3. I have a marriage of a Bridget Kenna to a Daniel Pluck I wonder if she is any connection to the Bridget you seek. Going on Griffiths valuation I thought ( dangerous thing for me to do ) that his valuation was done slightly earlier than 1860? And of course if Bridget was listed as a head of household she most likely ( another thought) was a widow lady so she would have married a Kenna.. I am at this time not much help to you am I? I do of course have some other KENNA names in this ellusive data base of mine if you would like them ................ I have no idea of the names you have asked about and will be looking further at these the only record I have in regards to Roundwood and postal is 1910......... 1. Roll Call - OLIVER
    2. Julie Claydon
    3. Hello fellow listers: Great idea Cara!! You always know how to stir up the pot! Here's my OLIVER ancestors I'm researching. You can also check out some of my OLIVER WebPages: www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/oliver.html (a general webpage about my OLIVER's). www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/johnryderoliver.html (webpage about an absolutely fascinating and intelligent OLIVER). www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/cvoliver.htm (webpage dedicated to an OLIVER who lead a short life in the military). www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/castleoliver.html (webpage about Castle Oliver located in County Limerick). www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/olivernames.html (if all else fails, you can check out this webpage which lists all the OLIVER's and their spouses who married into my OLIVER family). - Time frame I'm researching is circa 1763 - mid 1800's - Christian names I'm researching for this time period can be found on the above URL www.angelfire.com/ak2/claydon/olivernames.html - Their work: John Dudley Oliver was a partner in the Avoca Mines so he collected royalties from their production. From what I've discovered, his family did quite a bit of traveling throughout the British Isles. What I do find puzzling, is that I read in an obituary of an OLIVER nanny, was that Avoca was their "countryseat". I'd be interested in knowing more about their Avoca ties (what they did while there, church activities, anything!!) I know they had strong British ties but not sure exactly where in England that might have been. If Avoca was their "countryseat", where was their "cityseat" (yeah, I know, no such word - but you get the idea). I hope this gives enough info that someone out there in Cyberspace might know something. Julie
