    3. Dear Viola, In 1974 I visited the Castle/Museum in Enniscorthy. They have many artifacts from that battle. I asked the men in charge of the museum if there were lists of those killed and where they were buried. They said they were buried where they fell. At that time they didn't have any lists. I imagine these men were volunteers and not that knowledgable about sources available. Today, I would think, there is much more available. I hope to go to Dublin in October of this year to do research and then on to Wexford. The Irish were very outnumbered and for the most part just had picks as weapons. The British were numbered in the 10,000s with guns, cannons. Try googling 1798 Battle of Vinegar Hill, Wexford, Ireland. There is quite a bit online. Sorry I couldn't have been more help.
