Barbara, I tried to input Tittel in many web sites that pertain to locating coat of arms. According to Irish and German sites I could find nothing. My thought is, could Tittel be an abbreviated name for another name. Perhaps it was shortened. I think that you need to talk with a German Genealogist about the name and origin of where it came from.
