Kilrush R.C. What I have listed is some Warren stones: Stones in cemeteries: at Old Kilrush COI: GOD IS LOVE IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOSEPH WARREN RAHEEN DIED JUNE 14TH 1933 Aged 83 years. ALSO HIS WIFE ELIZABETH DIED SEP 2ND 1936 AGED 78 YEARS. ALSO THEIR SON THOMAS, DIED APRIL 10TH 1958 AGED 70 YEARS. "BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD." ST MATT. 5.8. Doyle Bunclody at New Kilrush COI: WILLIAM WARREN RAHEEN DIED OCT 21ST 1957 AGED 72 YEARS. ALSO HIS WIFE MARY, DIED APRIL 22ND 1968 AGED 71 YEARS. ALSO THEIR SON HENRY NOEL, DIED FEB 9TH 1980 AGED 49 YEARS. "HE GIVETH HIS BELOVED SLEEP" Burial Registers: of Kilrush COI: 16-02-1980 Henry Noel Warren, Raheen 49 24-04-1968 Mary Warren, Raheen 71 23-10-1957 William Warren, Raheen 72 04-09-1936 Elizabeth Warren, Raheen 78 06-16-1933 Joseph Warren, Raheen 83 Interestingly I have no Warrens listed in the 1824, 1851 or 1871 lists of Tenants, Occupiers & Owners for any townland in the Parish including Raheen. I have been told of a family of a John Warren (b 1738 Clonevan, IR d 10 Jun 1811 buried Bunclody) m. abt 1762 Jane Gore Atkin (b 1742 Rossard, Co Wexford, d 9 Feb 1839 buried Bunclody) with three children, Elizabeth, Margaret (b ? d 26 Jun 1844 Newtownbarry) & Jane. Elizabeth's husband's name is not recorded but her children were allegedly Robert (b 1811), John (b 1814) Jane (b 1814) William (b 1816) Mary (b 1821) and Samuel (b 1826) Is that the family you are researching? No Moultons mentioned in the book. Do you believe the Moultons were Protestants? The Warrens seemed to be. Jeff Jernegan ----- Original Message ----- From: Ron Shaw To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2007 1:38 PM Subject: Kilrush Parish Look-Up Jeff: With reference to your recent posting on the County Wexford message board could I impose upon you for a look-up? I am seeking the parents and family connections of one Joseph Moulton (1784-1829) who was born in the area of Bunclodi/Newtownbarry County Wexford and died in Canada. He was probably born in Barnahask Parish but may be connected to Moultons of that area from other nearby Parishes. He married Ann Elizabeth Warren (1786-1878) but she was born in Raheen Parish, Palace, County Wexford (and died in Canada as well). Joseph and Ann Elizabeth Moulton were Methodists (by the time they reached Canada, at least) but some other Moultons who came to Canada were COI. Any mention of the name Moulton or Warren in the records at your disposal could be of interest to me. Also, if you have or know of any reference to the North Barry Corps of Yeomanry I would be most interested to learn of it. Although some of the Moulton men who emigrated to Canada in the early 19th Century brought with them certificates citing their service in that unit I have never been able to find a single reference to it anywhere else. Its as if the North Barry Corps of Yeomanry never existed .... or, if it did, was more commonly known by some other name. Many thanks, and best regards, Ron W. Shaw SC/CEC/HMU Tel: 613-267-9617

    3. Hello Jeff, I'm looking for death and cemetery records for Nicholas Nolan / Nowlan and Bridget O'Neill Nolan...I don't have any birth dates for either of them, or marriage record, but some of their children (I think born in the early 1800s until maybe 1822) were: James, Ellen (married a Corcorhan), Michael (my great grandfather) [supposedly born between 1811-1819 acccording to his emigration and the census documents.] What caught my eye was your cemetery inscription from Bunclody, since that is where I think their farm was....in Kiltealy, Co.Wexford. Do you have any records of them? According to Ann Corcorhan's diary, Michael Nolan left Co.Wexford in August, 1853. He then sailed from Liverpool on the ship Arabia on 8/22/1853. I'm wondering if you have any Nolan records, or can suggest how I can find out more. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you. 3. I decided to look for Nicholas Nolan/Nowlan and his wife Bridget [O'Neill] in the Brian Cantwell's MEMORIALS CD. Surprisingly, Nicholas was a most uncommon given name among Nolans - I found only one. Patrick, James, Thomas, and John are apparently the most common. This is it: NEW ROSS, Saints Mary & Michael R.C. (Location No. 414, Vol IX, [on page 2874 on CD]) (at Side Altar: ) Erected by Nicholas Nolan of Irishtown in memory of his parents Timothy and Catherine Nolan I thought Nicholas was a family name but perhaps it was an O'Neill name not a Nolan name.
