Hi Terry maybe I am searching some of the same Murphy's you are. I am not sure if my Murphy's came from Wexford or not but I would be fairly certain it would not be far from there. If they were not from Wexford then I would hazard a guess they would have come from Waterford as they use to live on Waterford Bridge Road in Newfoundland between St. John's and Kilbride. I do know the Sinnott's in my line were from Adamstown Parish as a headstone in Newfoundland says that is where he originated from and was born about 1799/1800.
