Hi, I would dearly love a look up for the name CONNOR/CONNORS who I know lived in Gorey. My great grandfather was WILLIAM CONNORS born. abt. 1845 (age as given on his marriage certificate) his father was a MICHAEL CONNORS. Theie religion was RC. I cannot be sure that William was born in Gorey but his abode was given as Gorey when he married my great grandmother, Mary Cranwill in Ballyoughter RC in 1885. Williams occupation in 1885 was given as a Groom. So far I have been unable to find a death entry for William whom I believe to have died somewhere between 1889 - 1911 as I have not been able to trace him on the 1901 census. I know he was dead by the time of the 1911 census as his wife is shown as a widow. I would very much appreciate any lookup that you might have access to.
