Kate, I have been reading your posts and would like to ask you to lookup POWER(S) in your book, please. I am looking for a John POWERS who married Margaret McNAMARA probably in 1845-6. They had a son, Edward POWERS, born in 1847, whom they left behind with relatives when they came to America. Their next child, Bridget, was born in Union Springs, Cayuga, NY in 1852.
