Just some Doyle information to share. This excerpt was taken from the History of Cherry Township (which is located in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania) in the Early Settlers chapter. John Doyle was born in county Wexford, Ireland in 1798. He came to America when a young man, and located on the farm now owned by his son, Thomas, in 1846. He married Margaret (Conmey) Sweeney, the widow of Martin Sweeney.
