I can only say there is a possibility. I know nothing of Nicholas nor his family prior to immigrating to the US other than the information I already provided. However, the name Anastasia does appear with my O'Neill's (Nicholas' grandchildren). Though I am not sure if it is just coincidence due to the name being in fashion during that time or there is a link. Nicholas died somewhere between 1850 and 1860 as he disappears off of the census.
