    3. Is this different to PEIG by Bryan McMahon? Peig must have been a popular name. Its the story of Peig Sayers from the Blasket Islands and she tells the story of growing up & living on those islands. Truly fascinating read for us that werent there but ive heard people slag this book off and say it was read at Irish schools with everyone hating it.
