    3. The mailing lists today are not nearly as active as they'd been years ago, before so much information became available online.  I do miss reading about everyone's quests.   Perhaps we can start a Placenames roll call?  Often it is more beneficial then a surname one.  We can discover new avenues available to research in a particular geographical area that are not widely known to the entire county. Othertimes, we can make contacts with persons who have access to a particular baptismal register etc. for our area of research.   I have nineteenth century ties (1800-1900) to New Ross area of Wexford----   Townland of Cullenstown--  Civil Parish-Horetown/  RC Parish--Clongeen Townland of Ballyvergin (Ballyvirgin)--  Civil Parish-Kilgarvin/   RC Parish--Adamstown Townland of Garradreen--Civil Parish-Coolstuff/  RC Parish--Glinn (Glynn)   Also interested in Taghmon RC parish 1800-1810   Look foward to hearing from others who are interested in these areas.   Nancy

    3. Hi Nancy I was interested in the name places you listed. My GGGGrandfather William Sinnott b. abt 1800 and his brother Nicholas came from Adamstown area. I did not find anything while in Ireland that would tell me who their parents were. The emmigrate to Newfoundland before 1825. While in Ireland I also went into the Congleen RC cemetery and took some photo's for a lady I never met and passed them on to her via email.
