This is more information on the beta search site for the new records added to the FamilySearch beta site. Today they came out with a list of the records in their data base at: http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/s/collection/list For those that missed the search site: http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/ When you reach the collection list, click on the group of records your want to search. For example, go down to Ireland Births and Baptisms, 1620 - 1881 and click on it. You get a page with the title of the records and a description. If you click on 'Learn More', you get a description of how the records were collected and some info on the project. Next you find the Search Collection boxes. Before doing your search, go a little lower below, Show Advanced. Source Information shows what records are actually in the data base you are searching. Note, for these birth, the dates start 1864, not 1620. I hope this covers what others have missed before Cheers Cara
Just in case you are looking to search the Marriages for Ireland, which are for 1864-1870, these are not at present listed on the "fsbeta" Website, but can be searched on the Pilot Website at http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1203850297546#start All the same search facilites as Cara gave you are available on this URL and a list of available files can be obtained by clicking on the area you wish to research by using the world map. I also have found that there are more items available on the above URL for countries other than Ireland. Good luck with your searching Joyce > This is more information on the beta search site for the new records > added > to > the FamilySearch beta site.
