Hello list I am looking for information about Ellen Josephine O'Neill born Summerhill in 1862. She married Michael Keyes born 1842 from Ballylanders Limerick. Ellen emigrated to New Zealand at some stage and lived in Dunedin. Michael was a widower when he married Ellen ( possibly in Dunedin ) They had at least 3 sons who fought in ww1. Any help with Ellen or her family in Summerhill Wexford greatly appreciated. Thank you Margaret

Margaret, Not sure if you're in NZ or elsewhere. Wexford is one of a few counties that don't have data on the Irish Family History Foundation website. You could try Family Search "pilot" or "fsbeta" websites, but you'll find a shortage of data in Ireland. You might be better looking for data in NZ. Here's the NZ BDM website. https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/Search/ I can see Ellen married in 1886 and died in 1943, but you would have to purchase the certificates to see if they had any further information. You're correct about Dunedin. You'll find burials at http://www.dunedin.govt.nz/facilities/cemeteries/cemeteries_search If you look at the detailed burial record you'll find she was in NZ for 73 years, meaning she arrived with parents around 1870. You could look for births of possible siblings or possible deaths of parents. Alternately, you might look for her arrival at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~shipstonz/shipstonz.html and see who accompanied her.
