Hi Cara, Jacob is an unusual name, there was a 1849 marriage for a Jacob Ward, he was aged 40 at time of marriage, maybe my Jacob's (1835) uncle. I believe that the births and marriages were in Ferns Cathederal, letter to the rector and a visit to the Church of Ireland Representative body to see do records exist. I am helping Ethan Ward, Google him, he is a model, trace his family.
