    3. Sharon, Not sure about the Ireland Kinsella's, but my family also came from Wexford and settled in Illinois. There are a lot of Kinsella's in this area and some were very good friends with my ancestors that settled in this area; so they were probably from the Wexford area as well since friends often came to this country together. Do you know if any of the Kinsella's in the St Louis area (MO or IL) are related to you? I have been searching for the family of Sarah Kinsella for several years. Recently connected with a Kinsella relative and received the following: > > Felix Kinsella (no DOB) married Helen (no maiden name). Children born in Brocorrow Parish County Wexford ... Alexander (Sandy) b 1824, Michael b 1825, twins Felix & Sarah b May 1826 and Martin (no DOB). Sarah married Timothy Hoye in 1853 in Delaware County NY and they produced 7 children. > > Does any of this connect with what you have? > > Sharon Holmes Sanborn > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to IRL-WEXFORD-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/201469227/direct/01/

    3. My connection to the Kinsella name is Arthur b 1822 in Wexford. He came to the USA about 1850 to Rockford, IL moving shortly thereafter to Minnesota. (I find a spelling of Kinsley for him in some census also) He is the uncle to my great-grandmother Anna Aspel b 1852 whose mother was Anna Kinsella and father Michael Aspel. I cannot prove Anna Aspel was born in Wexford however there are 2 Michael Aspels in the 1851 Griffin census from Wexford. Unable to make any connection so far. My search goes on.
