    3. Bannow and Templeshambo are not near each other in terms of 'olden days' transport. Differnt unions even. I would certainly familiarise yourself with the geography of Wexford before proceeding or you'll end up with lots of information that's not relevant to you. Try the OSI site and the SeanRud townland page. I would also include the names, dates and locations on every mail you send. I think "my" Ellen (or Mary Jane/Mary Ellen) Nolan/Nowlan married Michael Corcoran. I think Ellen was from Ballycrystal, Templeshambo....but my information is very sketchy. I'm told her parents may have been Nicholas Nolan/Nowlan and Bridget O'Neill. I don't know the Shudall name and am not sure where the Bannow area is in relation to Templeshambo. I do send queries out periodically, but my relatives seem elusive because I rarely hear anything. Thanks again for your reply. I'd appreciate anything you come across. They were primarily in the Bannow area and primarily Church of Ireland. The name Ellen was very very common in Co. Wexford and the name Nolan reasonably common, e.g. an IGI search of Co. Wexford brings up 615 Nolans. So I don't imagine your Ellen Nowlan is from this line. If you think otherwise please feel free to contact me. If you have information other than a (married?) name and possible location I'd advise you put it on this list in case it ties in with someone else. > > Eileen > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Kathleen Conway > To: irl-wexford@rootsweb.com > Sent: Saturday, February 13, 2010 3:35 PM > Subject: Re: [IRL-WEXFORD] Ellen Nolan / Nowlan > > > I'm wondering what anyone knows about the Ellen Nolan / Nowlan listed here.
