    2. Are you sure that the Sinnott name below is not Pierse rather than Pierie. Pierse is a reasonably common name in the county and the other name does not exist, to my knowledge. Thomas Sinnott b. 1796 was the son of Pierie and Catherine Carty Sinnott (M) Arklow 15 Jul. 1791, and had two siblings James b. 1793 and Ann b. 1799. all in Castletown. Thomas migrated to NB Canada in 1821, but have no info on date and how he and his future wife sailed or from which port. Pierie Sinnott - c. 1763 Arklow and d. 1858, was the son of James and Ann Connor Sinnott (M) Arklow 17 Jan 1762 has at least two siblings Mary - c. 1766, Arklow, and John c. Arklow,1775, d. 1850. James Sinnott is buried in Kilkeven ,near Castletown, Co.Wexford My big question is if and how can I get any documents to confirm all the above, The info has been obtained from IGI family Group records. Edd Sinnett, in Florida (Spelling was change by my Grt.Grandfather David, Thomas' son). -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. We are a community of 6 million users fighting spam. 3. Hi Jim: No, I'm not sure what it is, thinking it might be Pierce, or Pierre, (since Sinnott is said to be of Norman extraction), as I have found both, but not connected by parental nor sibling names, nor locations, so I have copied as written at IGI and therefore want to get some kind of vital records to confirm either way Edd ----- Original Message ----- From: <jim.ryan@circa.ie> To: <irl-wexford@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, February 01, 2010 5:46 AM Subject: Re: [IRL-WEXFORD] IRL-WEXFORD Digest, Vol 5, Issue 7 > Are you sure that the Sinnott name below is not Pierse rather than Pierie. > Pierse is a reasonably common name in the county and the other name does > not > exist, to my knowledge. > > Jim Ryan > -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
