    3. Hello to all I am new to the list i was hoping that someone might help with where i can find information on a Darby or Jeremiah McEvoy.Who was put on trial at Wexford on 6 March 1835. He was sentenced to 7 years and sent to Australia.There is no listing of the offence on his certificate of freedom. John O'Neil

    3. John, There should be some data at NSW State Archives either at The Rocks or at Werrington. I'm surprised he doesn't appear on the Irish Transportation Database, but I did find a couple of references by Googling "Lady McNaughten 1835" including the following. Lady McNaughten 1835 p. 353 Receipts for convicts received on board listing articles supplied them; List of money handed into the custody of the surgeon showing convict's name, county, cash and articles of private property; Chief Justice's Warrants for Military convicts; and List of Military convicts removed from the Hulk Essex to the Lady McNaughten 21 June 1835 Looking at the comments, I'm wondering if he was one of the military prisoners Peter
