I'm looking for any information on the Keane family (aka Kain/Cain) of Ballinacur, Courtown Harbour.  I've found those listed on the 1901 and 1911 censuses for Ballinacur.  Also checked familysearch.org.  Could only find dtr Catherine of John Keane and Ellen Fitzpatrick.  Is anyone on the list familiar with the Keane/Fitzpatrick/Patrick families in the vicinity of Ballinacur?  Would love to hear from you... I had received information on Br. Nicholas Rupert Keane b 1-1-1882.  He died in 1961 but little information given as to his early years.  There were 13 in his family and he is the 3rd youngest.  His mother's sister, Sr. Mary (Catherine) Fitzpatrick, was a nun in St. Charles, MO.  Sr. Catherine was born in March of 1839 to Nicholas Fitz/Patrick and Ellen Mitten.  I'm sure some of these birthdates might be off base.  Three of his sisters and two brothers came to the U.S.  Any suggestions? There registration place would be Gorey and I have 1- Ellen Kean born 20/5/1872 and 2-Mary Kean born 20/5/1872 So twins girls for those people I gather they are the couple you are researching I mean parents John Kean and Ellen Fitzpatrick. But Kean families can be found at Taghmon, Wexford town, Bridgetown, Bannow So just looked for the names you mentioned.
