    3. Hi List I am looking for help in finding more information on my 3X great grandparents Richard Marytn _Martin_Marten_Martayne and his wife Maria Rose . I would love to find their wedding If Possible and childrens birth I "think" the children born in Ireland were, Robert abt 1821, Eliz. 1825, Rosanna abt. 1826 & Thomas abt 1829 The below is all I have on this couple I first find them on 1842 census in Canada 1842 census of Lanark Twp Ontario Canada Now to the first census of Lanark County, 1842 heads of households only. The information is in order as follows: Name, birthplace, Settled, concession, lot, date, number in household born there, number born here, total in household, religion. The date settled isn't necessarily the date they arrived but the date settled on a lot. 1842 Lanark County Robert E. Sargeant , J. R. Ernest Miller, compiler, 1842 Census Records for Lanark County For the Townships of Bathurst, Beckwith, Dalhousie, Darling, Drummond, Lanark, and North and South Sherbrooke (Kingston, Ontario: Ontario Genealogical Society, Kingston Branch , 1987 1992) p. 4 Martin, Henry Ireland Lanark 11 03W 1821 02 08 10 C/E Martin, Richard Ireland Lanark 11 04E 1832 06 04 10 Meth So, Richard settled about 10 years after Henry, originally on lot 04E, adjacent to his brother ( or I believe some relative) six born there, four born here and ten in the household, religion Methodist. It's probable that he followed his brother who had emigrated c 1821. Possibly in the home himself, wife, and four chlldren born Ireland and four born in Canada.
