Hello to the list, can anyone help me, I am looking for a marriage which took place in Londonderry, Ireland. It is Robert Chambers born in 1830 in Londonderry, Ireland, to either a : Elizabeth Thompson or Elizabeth Hardy. Some family members say Thompson others Hardy, he could even of been married twice who knows. Looked in family search with no success, don't know whether else to look, so that's why I am asking for help Many thanks Sandyanne

Just curious.  Why are you seeking info on the county Wexford list for an ancestor who lived in Londonderry??  If he was Protestant, his civil marriage record should be available since his marriage would have been after 1845.  That data should be available on the LDS site, familysearch.com   CHAMBERS is an Ulster surname and is common in Mayo in the Newport area which is Connaught. There is a marriage listed on LDS Website under Ireland Marriages as follows: ROBERT CHAMBERS son of JOHN CHAMBERS married ELIZABETH THOMPSON daughter of JAMES THOMPSON. They married on 29 June 1854 at Glendermot, Derry, Ireland. This marriage is in the Civil Registration Index of Births Marriages and deaths - Robert Chambers 1854 Registered at Londonderry, Vol.7 page 382. Elizabeth Thompson also found with the same registration details. You can now order a copy of the Registration from the GROs, from which you will be able to see if Elizabeth was a Spinster or a Widow.
