I am looking for assistance in reseaching the following family fom Bastardstown in the parish of Kilmore. JAMES COGLEY (c.1788) married CATHERINE CORISH (c.1796-1849). Their children whom I have identified are: 1817 MARY 1822-79 JOHN BERNARD 1825-82 ANNE (married ? HANTON) 1837-74 JAMES. Most of this family were buried in the cemetry at Grange. The Griffiths Valuation of 1853, the Tithe Applotment of 1833 and the 1911 census all show members of the Cogley family living in Bastardstown - but not so for the Corish family. I have found Corishes in Grange, Ballygrangrans and Ballyseskin but have not been able to establish any connections with our CATHERINE CORISH. Can anyone on the list offer me any information or suggestions on either the COGLEYS or the CORISHES? Tony O'Grady Melbourne Australia.
