Sounds very interesting, what a huge job. It was always Church of Ireland. i suppose you have heard of this site: http://www.ireland.anglican.org/index.php?do=information&id=65 The Representative Church Body. They hold all the Church of Ireland records that are around or more correctly, given to them. Unfortunately they don't do searches but if you ever go to Dublin they will welcome you and let you search as much as you like! I will be in touch re the Jeffers/Jeffares with a few more details.
