Thanks, Cara, I sent you the little information I know in my other email. According to the 1901 census both Jeremiah and his wife Mary were born in County Wexford. So I would imagine they married there as well. I guess since Wexford information isn't given out that easily, that that is the reason I can't find anything much on Jeremiah or his family. I have no idea who Jeremiah's father might be or if Jeremiah had siblings...I'm guessing "yes" for siblings. And I would guess his father might be William since the first son shown is William. I have Michaels and James and Johns in my Lawler families but those names are not unusual and are repetitive from generation to generation. Dennis is the name of a relative who came to Illinois in the 1850s. So I would think to look for the name Dennis in a family. I know this is very little to go on. I know if I am patient, the information will eventually be online. Childrens names would assist also, and what information you gleaned from the Census would also give a guiding light. When did his parents die? Where did his parents Die And no a death certificate for certain time frames will give you very little details but time changes lots of things and unless there is a time frame one cant say for certain what you would find on a given certificate.
