Hi Mary, Excellent idea. However, I am beginning my Ireland research on my Sinnott / Sinnett / Senet and have no clue as to the parish or township they may have come from in Co. Wexford. Family hear say is that the Sinnott owned a "Pub or Grocery Store" in Ireland. Somewhere along the family line it has come down to Co. Wexford. They were found as a family on the 1860 Patterson Depot, Frankford County, VA census. 1860 Census, 11-2-1880, Western District, Hampshire, Virginia, PO - Patterson Depot Salt Lake City, 1-8-2005 Dwelling 6, Family 6 Michael Sinnett, 46, Laborer, $0 RC, $100 Personal, Ireland Mary A. Sinnett, 48, VA Norman Nash, 22, Laborer, MD Jeremiah Monett, 18, Laborer, MD Michael Sinnett, 18, MD Mary A. Sinnett, 6, MD Elizabeth C. Loyd, 11, MD Then on the 1870 census I could only find - MARY SINNOTT 1870 CENSUS, Hampshire Co., WV, Mary, 54, VA, Keeping House Mary A. d. 15 MD,Domestic Servant Norman, 32, Farm Laborer Plus I found a death certificate for - Mineral County Deaths Michael SANNET 11-24-1868 AGE 56 Born: Ireland Parents: James & Mary Sannet I have posted a few brief postings and the folks on this list are very helpful in sending information to help with the research.
