Eliza was on the Andromeda and had a small child with her and other convicts had suggested to her to say she was a married woman rather than saying she had an illegitimate child. I did find a Cathrine Wilson and took a stab in dark as Eliza later when she was with William Williams they had a child Catherine this was found  on familysearch, I think Catherine  may have been buried at St. John's Parramatta, I applied for the death certificate  and this had no useful information on it. Eliza and another convict a William Williams who came on the Hooghley 1828, applied to be married at least 2 times and this was denied because the shipping records stated that she was married woman. Her death certificate stated parents unknown. I must admit as yet  I have not tried looking for records from the Cork goal, this is where she was transported from. I really don't know where to look next any ideas would be greatly appreciated. You don't give a name for the child, or who Eliza married or when she died. Do parent names appear on marriage or death certificates? Before looking for her birth around 1808, I wonder can anybody recommend a good site for Wexford BDM data pre 1864. There seems little data available. Peter in Sydney
