I'm trying to find the GALAVAN family of New Ross. I have the father, Edward, born 1808/1809; Elizabeth, born 1842; Ellen, born 1845. The mother's first name may be Mary. The burial records of both Elizabeth and Ellen list New Ross, County Wexford, as the birthplace. They first show in the 1860 USA Census in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have found the name spelled as Galavan, Galavin, Galvin and Galvan, in the USA. I have checked all the civil and church records in the Cincinnati and Hamilton County area.
