Dear Patti & Laurie & anyone else that might know, Do either of you have a Francis Kavanagh who married Mary Willoughby - maybe Gorey - about 1850? The family emigrated to Canada where a daughter was born, but returned to Ireland again - possibly to Dublin. As far as I know Francis was one of the McMurrough Kavanaghs - but any records I have found just say Kavanagh. Many thanks! Hilda in Colorado

Hi Hilda There is a marriage recorded at Christchurch (Ch. of Ire.) in Gorey of Francis Kavanagh of Gorey and Mary Willoughby, Gorey on Oct. 15, 1852 by licence Witnesses- George Willoughby and ? Doreen, your Willoughby were in Gorey in 1911 You can check further in the 1911 Census. I have one family here that I found in Historic Gorey2.
