There was a "Barbaville Murder" in the Collinstown area....I should imagine that the name was taken from the manor house of the fellow who was supposed to have been killled...what happened was that he changed seats in the carriage with a female and the female was killed instead. Your local library can probably give you more information about this. If you get back to me in mid October, I'll be glad to send along what I have. But right now I can't dig it all out. Perhaps someone else can help you but I'm sure that the name was Barbaville and not Barbadilla.
