Hello Listers I posted a query regarding Patrick Kenny some time ago and have since found that his wife was called Bridget Richards. They and their family left West Meath between 1849-54 and settled in Liverpool. They were :- Patrick Kenny - Head (born about 1811) Bridget Kenny [nee Richards] - Spouse(born about 1815) Edward Kenny - Son (born about 1841) Daniel Kenny - Son (born about 1845) Bridget Kenny - Daughter (born about 1849) According to British Census records they were all born in West Meath. There was a further son William Kenny (born in Liverpool about 1854). Their trades in Liverpool included dock porter, carter and public baker. There appears to have been a fair amount of expertise and knowledge of horses. I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who might have any further information (particularly the family's town or village).
