There is the smaller townland about a mile WSW of Rathconrath and 4 miles S of Ballynacarrigy. The coordinates are 298 529 on Discovery map 41. This townland is only about 280 acres. The larger (1800 acres) Farthingstown is a bit over a mile S of Rochfortbridge, smack up against the Offaly border and pretty much at the edge of a huge turf-harvesting area. The center of the townland appears to be about 470 388 on Disc. map 48. This Farthingstown has 30 or more houses in it - the smaller one has only about 10.
