I'm trying to get the photo of the ship " Fortitude" and " Bess Grand" The first did bring irish emigrants to USA in the first years of 1800. Provably someone know where to find out them?? Alberto

Alberto and All, Would you happen to know where any passenger lists can be found to the ships mentioned or the ports of entry used by them? This is the time period I am researching and have not found any ships/passenger lists for this time period from Ireland to America. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Alberto: Ships that early are hard to find..no photos, but sometimes paintings. I have had good luck with a British source who has a great collection of ships and material. He was able to help me and e mail all information and a picture. It cost 10 pounds, and he will take credit cards. It was worth it for me. You can e mail and ask about a ship and he will tell you if he has any information before you order. Alberto and all: good site for ships carrying immigrants.It has other ports than US also. file://istg.rootstweb.com this is the Ships transcribers guild who are doing all the ships coming to US.. It has several leaving Argentina in early 1800 also.
