Thanks to all who responded to my query. I realized my error and figured out that Greenstown was actually Queenstown, which led to the discovery of the manifest on the Ellis Island site. There are a few good late 1800's photos of Queenstown posted on the net, search google if interested. Thanks again and good luck in your searches. > > >----- Original Message ----- > > >From: Jil E <[email protected]> > > >To: <[email protected]> > > >Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2001 7:23 AM > > >Subject: [Irl-Westmeath] Sailing from Greenstown? > > > > > > > > > > I have a copy of a ships manifest that we believe carried our >ancestors > > >from > > > > Westmeath.
