Dear Listers, I'm new to this list so I thought I would post my interest in County Westmeath. My gggg grandfather I believe is:- Owen TIERNAN (TIERNEY) Born: c.1780 Sentenced to 7 years transportation in Leinster in 1810. Transported aboard the "Archduke Charles" which left from Cork on 15 May 1812 So if anyone could be connected in any way and could enlighten me of his family in Ireland I would very much appreciate it.
