    3. There is a RC church in Oldcastle and I'm almost positive it is called St. Bridgets...... Oldcastle is in Co.Meath but very close to the border of Westmeath...one goes from one county into the other without even realizing it. Besides the Catholic church there is/was also a Methodist Church and a Church of Ireland which I think is closed.....there is one graveyard...and one very old graveyard but I can't give you any details on it. I am working on lines in the area......so if you come across any ancestors with the name Caven/Kevin or (O)Donoghue/Donahue/Donahoo/etc, or Gammell do get back to me. The Caven/Kevin and Donoghue lines are from the townlands of Hammondstown and Hilltown. Oldcastle is a very nice little town....old market town.....really off the beaten track. If you go there do get back to me...... Keep in touch we may be able to help each other out.
