Alberto, I was wondering, if you have any one who spells the name Mulledy. This is my family name and it is said in our family that they were from WestMeath originally. Just wondering if any of them spell it Mulledy. gracias, Susan Mulledy USA
Excuse don't reply soon. I have in my family an Ellen Melady married to Patrick Lynch they lived in Moyvore are and their son James Lynch was buried in Templepatrick in 1-1-1940. But I think you are searching a surname also spelled Mulleady. Concerning this name I have a family Kelly that came from Legan in Co. Longofrd to Argentine. These two brothers Kellys came here around 1876 and lived in their aunts place living here some time ago. One of these aunts was the mother of Ricardo Mulleady a patriot that help in the war against Paraguay. (these two brother married two sisters of my ggrandmother Lynch and then returned to live in Ireland with their families) The point is that the Kellys of these families are from Legan in Co. Longfod and the Mulleady from Ardagh in Co. Longford. This inforation I took from Coghlan's Los irlandeses en la Argentina , su actuacin y descendencia. Some information is from my relative Kellys living in Glen Edgeworthtown Co. Longford. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 7:35 PM Subject: Re: [Irl-Westmeath] Melady > Alberto, > > I was wondering, if you have any one who spells the name Mulledy.
