    3. I have the book mentioned by Alberto about the Irish from Westmeath who went to Argentina. I got it on interlibrary loan from Calif State University-San Diego. It is huge. I will be glad to look up names if anyone thinks maybe they went to Argentina. I can read enough Spanish to get it correct. I will have it until March 31. Charlotte Smith

    3. Charlotte: I was unable to get the book on interlibrary loan and I am very interested in the Claffy people who went to Argentina. I understand they are listed on 3 pages in the index. If it is too much to copy by hand, I will reimburse copying costs and postage and be very grateful for your kind help. ----- Original Message ----- From: Charlotte Smith <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 4:35 PM Subject: [Irl-Westmeath] Argentina irish > I have the book mentioned by Alberto about the Irish from Westmeath who went to Argentina. 3. Have just returned from vacation and saw your generous offer. I have at least four PHILLIPS brothers who disappeared into thin air after the death of their father (died 1840s in Meath). The mother, Margaret Tighe, was from Westmeath. An obit mentions another brother was "formerly of Stonehall". Are there any Phillips or Tighe listed in the book and does it cover this time period? Thanks, Nicole ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charlotte Smith" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 1:35 PM Subject: [Irl-Westmeath] Argentina irish > I have the book mentioned by Alberto about the Irish from Westmeath who went to Argentina.
