hi Clare, My family lines came to U.S. from Westmeath primarily. Amongst my family are some Flanagan's, though some family members I've interviewed say they were just friends of the family. I, thus, don't know if/how they're related to me yet. They were my great aunt's baptism sponsors at St. Catherine, New York City, NY in 1892 and my grandmother's wedding attendants in 1923 at Church of Our Lady of Esperanza in the city. There names: Cormack and Anne Flanagan, daughters: Lucy(i think) and Gertrude and son James. I don't know if you've a connection, but ... Keep my email address in case you find a connection and in case I find they're related to me. take care brian donlon researching: Donlon, Conlon, Lannon, Pyne, Reilly, Kilduff, McDonald, Howard, Clark, Shiel(d)s [email protected] wrote: > Hi Everyone > > I have been doing genealogy for a while now, and > have had moderate success > with most of my lines.
