Researching my g. g. grandparents, PATRICK ALEXANDER & CATHERINE MEARES DUCKETTT, married in Athlone, Co. Westmeath in 1838, later emigrating to Barrow Hill (Chesterfield) area of England. CATHERINE was the daughter of MICHAEL & MARY WHITE MEARES of Athlone. I recently acquired entries from the DUCKETT NOTEBOOK concerning the DUCKETT and DEGNAN families, descendants of my g.g. grandparents, after they emigrated to England.
