Hi List, I'm trying to find where my G. grandfather was born. I have his DOB as 18/7/1880 (from family Bible) He married Annie Aris in Coventry 5/2/1906 George's father was Charles Young I know my grandmother was baptised (Kathleen) at the Presbyterian Church of Athlone on 14/5/1912. George & Annie Young were living 12, High St, Athlone in 1914. In 1917 it was 8 High St. along with a Mr Hanlon. Can anyone local tell me if the Church is still there? Would the High St. addresses still be there as houses? Where do i look for a baptism for George, or who do i contact to search for me, as i can't get to Ireland Is the surname YOUNG a 'local' name?
