Hi Frank My wife & I were in Moate in 1998 and are going back there in August (I hope :-) ). It's a great place.. Make sure to go to the Dun na Si cultural centre and if it's still going make sure to get to the Ceili (sic?) on a Friday night. You'll have a ball.. be prepared for a late night..early morning.. Stage show starts about 9.45pm (nothing starts early in Ireland) and goes for about an hour. After that, supper and then the set dancing starts .. hope you enjoy ..
