    3. Can anyone tell me if there is a St. Bridget's Church, Old Castle, Westmeath? I found a reference to it on GenForum, saying that there were many Gaynor records there. The only place that I can find that comes close on the maps I have is Oldcastle in Meath. Thanks, Ted

    1. [Irl-Westmeath] Be sure you are using Local.ie
    2. Charlotte Smith
    3. All Irish researchers should be using www.local.ie and then click on the county site and get the town. They have added much information and be sure to double check to the left and use the history click . and then use the Lewis Topography site for the information on the town. very helpful..You can see y our town in pictures too. 3. Vi and Ted Schmitz: If you will go to www.local.ie and then to Meath and then on the blank put in Oldcastle you will get to the Oldcastle site. Then go to the History on the left and click and then go to the Lewis Topograpfy map. It has a detailed info on the town and the churches and dioceses etc to help you find out where to look. Meath and Westmeath are next door to each other.
