Hi Carol, Noticed this from the Rock County, Wisconsin list. It's from a lister (Carol) who's recording/submitting bios of people in the area from various local history books. >From History of Rock County, Wisconsin, publ. 1879 - page 696 WALTER BRITT, farmer, Sec. 20; P.O. Janesville; born in Waterford Co., Ireland, eight miles from the city of Waterford, in 1832; came to America in 1856; lived in the Eastern States till 1859, when he moved to Wisconsin, locating in Janesville, Rock Co.; owns 80 acres. Married Winifred BALDWIN, born near the city of Limerick, County Clare, Ireland, in 1843; had two boys - Walter, born May 7, 1862; Francis, July 4, 1870. Mr. BRITT was formerly married to Mrs. Putnam HUDERLY, of Pelham, N.H., she having one daughter by him - Elizabeth, who is now the wife of Mr. James O'FLAHERTY.
