From: Maryann Arnold <marnold@princeton.edu> I found the following information in "The Irish Ancestor" publication Vol. 4, No. 2 for 1974 and thought it might be of help to someone. The list is from the parish records of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Halifax, N.S. St. Peter's started 1784 until 1830 and the later church is now called St. Mary's Basilica in Halifax. The list is much more extensive but I am only including Kilkenny entries here. It lists both the bridge & groom names as well as their parents and where they were from in most cases. 2 June 1808 William POWER (of Nicholas and Alice Flinn of Co. Waterford) to Mary LAFFIN (of Michael and Bridget Glandon of Co. Kilkenny), widow of William RYAN. 21 May 1812 James WALSH (of Richard and Mary Purcel of Co. Kilkenny) to Elener BOYLE (of John and Mary Brown of Co.
