    3. Hello! I was fixing some links and wanted to mention a couple of links on Irish research that might be of interest: The National Library of Ireland has some items to help with research. From this page you can download their pamphlet on Parish Registers in the National Library of Ireland - http://www.nli.ie/pdfs/famil2.pdf This is a pdf file so you will have to have Acrobat Reader loaded on your computer or you will have to download it (free) from www.adobe.com There is another pamphlet called Getting Started which may also provide some information you would like to have - http://www.nli.ie/pdfs/famil1.pdf Just this week I decided that I needed to put my scattered articles on Irish Research in a notebook for easy access. You might also find it helpful to organize your own Notebook. For my notebook I pulled some information from the Family History Library's Research Outline for Ireland. It is a very long url so you might find it easier to use the direct link I have provided on the Links Page. http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlwat2/watslinks.htm >From here you might like to print out some topics - if you don't already have the LDS Research Outline. Topics to add to your notebook might include the outline of milestone dates for Irish History and Irish Church History. If your computer's printer will print just the highlighted area, you might want to highlight the topic, leaving off the index to save on paper. You can click through the outline using NEXT TOPIC at the bottom of the page. This way you can scan for articles that might give you some ideas. Clicking though I noticed something that I was not looking for. Under Schools it showed that there is a book of alumni of Trinity College, Dublin which has been filmed. The nephew of one of my ancestors may have gone there so I want to look further at that. I never would have thought to look for it though. I think these articles will give you a brief overview of some of these research areas. I hope some of these Ireland links may be helpful. Regards, Christina
