The ship departed Liverpool then Queenstown (Cork) and arrived at the Port of Boston on Sept. 10, 1876. There were 317 passengers on board - 149 steerage and 168 cabin class. It is presumed that John and brother Ed. left Ireland following death of their father John in early 1876.
